Dave & Busters

It%26#39;s been a couple of years since my husband has been to Dave %26amp; Busters, but we made a hotel reservation in Marietta when we will be in the Atlanta area so we could stop by there. I have been to Jillians in Raleigh and was kind of disappointed because of crowding and the service, but I hear that D %26amp; B isn%26#39;t quite the same. Can anyone tell me how the service, food %26amp; crowds are recently?

I haven%26#39;t personally been but my husband%26#39;s high school reunion will be there this summer. They had the previous one there five years ago. Since the high school is in the Metro Atlanta area and the committee chose the place again they must feel like it is a good place. I know this isn%26#39;t a first hand reply but maybe it will help.

I%26#39;ve only been once and I thought it was really cheesy but I can imagine if you want to go and play games this would be the best place to go. I don%26#39;t recall having any trouble with service, and the food was just standard bar food. I went on a weeknight, probably a Thursday, and it wasn%26#39;t crowded at all. We were able to get a pool table and play any other games we wanted.

It%26#39;s been a couple of years since my family went there and it was fun. I%26#39;m trying to remember some of the details. The kids had a good time but I don%26#39;t remember if we had to leave by a certain time because we had the kids with us. I love craps and my husband loves blackjack so we%26#39;ve decided to try Tunica, Miss. They%26#39;ve been advertising a lot lately. I though D%26amp;B would be more like a casino but it was more like large game room. Food and drinks were okay but I can%26#39;t remember if they were better than okay. I guess we would have gone back again if they were better than okay. Have fun. You can%26#39;t go wrong with a fun night out.

I found some reviews of Dave and Busters on Citysearch.

Another similar (kind of similar) option is Andretti%26#39;s. It%26#39;s in Roswell, not Marietta but it%26#39;s really cool. Indoor race track and lots of driving arcade games. Might be more fun for guys than girls. Just an idea.

Too bad you%26#39;re not in the area this weekend. The Blue Angels are flying over Dobbins Air Force Base this weekend and it%26#39;s a real treat to watch these talented pilots doing what they do best. A real family treat and it%26#39;s FREE.
