A HOT weekend in HOTAtlanta

Just returned from a girl鈥檚 weekend in HotAtlanta. We got a HOT deal off of HOTwire. We chose a 3.5 star in Downtown for $58 a night; it turned out to be the Hyatt Regency on Peachtree. Great location-The Marta Station was right next door with a mini mall, lots of restaurants in walking distance and your right on the bus line that will take you into Midtown and Buckhead. My only complaint about the hotel was the outside noise. Are room was in the Main Atrium and they just so happened to be having some type of Youth Convention that weekend :-( They have a very nice work out center. They also have a deli that is open 24hrs. Beds are super comfy.

We arrived Thursday night and spent that in Fairburn with a friend. Friday we went to the MLK Historic Site. This is definitely something you want to check out if you are ever in the area. We ate a late lunch/early dinner at a restaurant by the hotel, can鈥檛 remember the name, but it was a brewery type place. They had good, reasonably priced food and a HOT waiter.

Friday night we went to Visions night club- $20 cover, $8 drinks and they do not serve Anhieser Busch products, what鈥檚 up with that? The club has 2 main dance floors and 3 or 4 other rooms with smaller dance floors. Main club played hip hop with some old school, one of the other smaller rooms was playing Reggae- not sure about the others. They had closed one of the main parts off, so there was no seating area. A cab from the hotel was $10.

Saturday we took the Marta to the Underground and hung out there most of the day. We went to the Coca Cola museum, personally I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s worth the $8, but we did get to try some soda that they only sell internationally, the Apple from China was pretty good. We ate lunch at Triple Play- good food and friendly service.

Saturday night we went to Vegas Nights, this club is HOT! Ladies are free until 11. This club caters to the more mature crowd. They played Old School and New School. They have a big dance floor and stage with plenty of tables and chairs and the bartenders are pretty heavy handed with the drinks (at least ours was :-))

We will definetly check out HOTAltanta again.
