We stopped there 3 times. 2 x in her previous place and 1 x in her new location. Each time we walked out the door totally bloaded. So no more Lady%26#39;s for me or my husband and 3rd time we were 3 friends and all had the same feeling.
A cheap and good place to recommend for when you are on the road ist ';Ida Mae%26#39;s'; on Highway 17 south (heading south it is on the left side of Hwy. 17) of Savannah just as you get to Midway, Ga. It looks like it used to be a gas station a long time ago and it is now a family owned southern homecooking restaurant. Beef roast, fried chicken, homemade vegetable soup, greens, gumpo, rice, biscuits, good ice tea, different kind of vegetables, sandwiches. Everything is very good and at a very affordable pirce. The above ist just an excample of the menu. The price of a meal is about $ 7.00. Clean and very nice people, many locals eat there and they do service a very good breakfast.
