Mother/Daughter trip - dinner suggestions please

We will be traveling the third weekend in April and are looking for suggestions for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Have heard Daughters and Sons is difficult to get into but good....Considering Chart House....any other suggestions? If you know of something delicious but a bit more economical?

If you want Lady %26amp; Son%26#39;s, you may spend your entire time in Savannah standing in line. I think the evening buffet is now a staggering $18 which people happily pay but I think you can get better bang for the buck elsewhere.

The Chart House is nice but I think you can get a little more Savannah with these options:

1. Bisto Savannah just down Congress from L%26amp;S is owned by the same group that owns The Olde Pink House. Great food but lacks a little of the atmosphere of OPH should fit your economical requirement.

2. If you have read this board you know I love Firefly Cafe%26#39; on Troup Square. Prices range from $5 to about $16. Great food. Much better atmosphere with candlelight in the evening.

3. Vic%26#39;s on the River may be a little out of your price range but offers some great views of the river and has good web site where you can peruse the menu ahead of time. www.vicsontheriver.com
