Babysitting Service?

Hi!

My husband and I and our 19-month-old daughter will be visiting Savannah in a couple weeks. We will be renting a home in the Historic Distric. We are wondering whether there is a safe, reputable (background-checked) babysitting service available to us so that the two adults could have an evening ';out on the town'; or a dinner cruise? Any advice on who to contact in this regard would be appreciated!

bumping back to the top since no one has answered. I can not recommend a babysitting service, but I would steer you away from a ';dinner cruise';. The food is always awful (in all cities not just savannah). Eat a meal at a real restaurant and take a sailboat cruise instead.

I second the suggestion that you not take the dinner cruise. I%26#39;ve had so-so times on the boat with dinner but it was during private parties when the food%26#39;s kicked up a notch. Go elsewhere.

As far as babysitters go, try a web search like ';savannah georgia babysitting service';, see what comes up. Or call one of the hotels like The Mansion on Forsyth and see which service they use.
