Community Activities?

My parents are spending a little over two weeks at the Naval Base this month, Feb 13th thru the 30 camping and are looking for activities in the area. They are currently in Florida and missed out on a chamber sponsered activity/dinner by not knowing about it before hand. The are looking for information on activities going on in and around St. Marys during the last half of Feb. Any help is appreciated.

Check out the Mardi Gras Parade in town next Saturday. And don%26#39;t miss Marianne%26#39;s in St. Marys or Steffen%26#39;s in Kingsland for great meals. They should also try Stan%26#39;s on the weekend in Woodbine and the Woodbine Opry, which will amaze them.

Thanks for the ideas. My parents are there and were going to go to the farmers market this past Saturday but I guess you had some rain. They are going to go to the parade this weekend I told them to try Langs based on the recommendations here.

I was just looking at the Opry there in Woodbine. Have you eaten there or eaten someplace else 1st?

We%26#39;re going the end of March and missed out on this the 1st time we went.

Does anyone know about a Crooked River theater production in Kingsland? When and Where and what?

Just saw this post, so the response is late. The Woodbine Opry has had great food in years past; at present, they%26#39;re restoring the old high school, and dinners might be available. But the entertainment alone%26#39;s worth the trip. And we%26#39;re expecting a big reopening of the food line during the annual crawfish festival April 24-26. Stop by Stan%26#39;s Smokehouse while you%26#39;re in Woodbine, too.

Charlie...We did make it to Stan%26#39;s Smokehouse...for those googling, it%26#39;s Captain Stan%26#39;s Smokehouse.

Great place! We were in the parking lot of the Opry and some nice man took a look at the motorcycle and told us the weather forecast. Sadly we decided to go back to St Mary%26#39;s...next time!!

The Riverview was great again! And Lang%26#39;s what can we say. Yum...just yum.
