Movie Theater in Savannah?

Hi,

I%26#39;m bringing my 15 yr old daughter and her best friend on a little weekend getaway for Spring break in a couple weeks. One night they would like to go see a movie (new Antonio Banderas flick). ANYWAY, does Savannah have good movie theaters playing New Releases?

Movie Theater in Savannah?

The newest, nicest theaters are way on the south side of town on Mowhawk or Apache or something, right behind the Savannah Mall.

The Carmike is not bad and much closer to downtown, though still on the south side.

Oh the girls would love to do the Savannah Mall and the movies, so that should be perfect! Nice Mall?

I found the Oglethorpe Mall online, has stores the girls would love. Is there a movie theater close to that mall? Safe area?

Carmike is just 5-6 blocks away, on Stephenson Ave., a block or two east of Abercorn. You can%26#39;t walk it but it is not very far.

The Regal at Eisenhower Square would also be easy to get to from the Oglethorpe Mall.
