We may be relocating to the Augusta area my husband will be working at the Militery Base. Any suggestions for the areas to buy a home and any suggetsions of ones we should stay away from. We have aschool aged child so a good district for school is important. $250,000 max budgetr for a house.
Relocating
The Martinez or Evans area only for the best schools. Search for homes in the Riverside, Lakeside or Greenbriar school zones. You should be able to find a nice house in that area and price range if you start looking soon but homes in that price range go fast. Those areas are also only a 15-20 minute drive to the to the base. Good luck! Maybe I%26#39;ll have you as a neighbor!
Relocating
I agree with Moe. Look for Columbia County locations to stay in that school system which is one of the highest rated in all of Georgia.
Don%26#39;t move to Augusta! It is backwards, redneck, and full of hypocrits. We hate it!
