River boats

I will be in Savannah over Easter week. Are there steamship or river boat cruises/tours?? Thanks.

River boats

There is a paddle wheeler (fake) that leaves from River St near the Hyatt. It goes up into the port area, which never had much appeal to me and though we lived yds from it%26#39;s landing, in all the time we lived there I never took their cruise so can%26#39;t comment on how good it is. I%26#39;ve never seen anyone write anything too enthusiastic about it however. They have a dinner cruise as well.

If the port and that sort of thing is of interest the river tour might be worth doing, it is a major port and growing every year. I would avoid the dinner cruise though from what I have heard.

I did the river cruise it was for the lunch cruise , the food was nice the service from the crew was good to infact you couldn%26#39;t nock the service .

The boat cruises past the docks/ port area not very scenic but on the right hand side is prettier . If the boat cruised the other way ( down stream ) it would be more scenic there must be a reason why it cant .

Dont be put off the cruise go out on top deck and just enjoy it . I guess its like coming to London and not taking a river trip if you dont .
