We are staying in Buckhead the 12th %26amp; 13th, and thanks to this forum I have put together a good list of places to eat around Atlanta.
The 14th %26amp; 15th we are staying at the Marriott Evergreen in Stone Mountain. I am looking for BBQ joint and hometown type restaurant recommendations for this area.
Any help would be appreciated!

Jim, I wish I could offer some personal experience but I know nothing about the Stone Mountain area. I did check citysearch.com, and this is the only barbecue restaurant it listed: Milton BBQ Chicago Style Barbecue, 653 Main St, Stone Mountain GA. For southern/soul food, this listing came up: Satterwhite%26#39;s Southern Feast, 4975 Memorial Dr, Stone Mountain GA. The restaurants in Stone Mountain Park are fairly good, so you may want to try to eat there when possible. At the Crossroads area there is a restaurant that specializes in southern cuisine.

Miss Katie%26#39;s Sideboard is the homestyle restaurant in Crossroads at SM. I ate there not long after they opened and I thought it was especially good. They serve a variety of items like fried chicken, pot roast, many vegetables, great rolls and even sweet potato fries. Unless things have changed since then, I%26#39;d definitely give it a try.
