Budget hotel near interstate?

Looking for a budget hotel for quick stayover 1 night for 2 adults and 2 tweens. My only requirements are clean and safe. Do you recommend priceline, or, which hotel to direct book?

Which Interstate? I am guessing that you mean I-95. In which case, check out the hotels/motels at Gateway Savannah, the intersection of I-95 and Hwy 204.

Also note that booking through priceline only guarantees you one room with one bed (unless you bid on two rooms). You will have to contact the hotel immediately after your bid wins, and make arrangements for two beds. The area listed by the previous poster is probably the best. You can take 204 (abercorn) all the way to the historic district.

Several nice hotels along I-95 and Richmond Hill exit just south of Savannah. We always book directly with hotel and if you are AAA member you can really get a good discount.

Though I live here, I have occasion (it%26#39;s a grandmother thing) to use the Country Inn and Suites at I-95 and Highway 21 (last exit before S. C.). I am always supremely satisfied. (Big breakfast included....inside pool.)

The Cambria Suites at the Savannah airport. right around $100 to $120 a night they have huge rooms. Each room is a suite with a lounge area with it%26#39;s own flat screen tv. they have a frig, and microwave in each room. They also have a indoor pool that%26#39;s open 24 hours.
