St. Patrick's Day Celebration

I will be in Savannah on Friday - Sunday. I know I will miss the St. Pats. celebration. Have anyone heard about the weekend events? Will there be activities on Riverstreet during the weekend of the 13th.

St. Patrick's Day Celebration

We%26#39;ve got many activities going on this weekend. A few come to mind. This Saturday is Tara Feis, the Irish-themed family festival held on East Bay St. at Emmet Park, overlooking the Savannah riverfront. I think it runs from 11a.m. thru 3 or 4p.m. Free %26amp; open to the public....this is one of the most anticipated events.

Tybee Island, our beach island is holding its St. Patrick%26#39;s Day parade Saturday afternoon....it%26#39;s about an hour or so long. This year the Budweiser Clydesdales will be in Tybee%26#39;s parade. Not sure of the time, it may be 3p.m. I don%26#39;t have my newspaper handy right now or else I could confirm the time.

The weather should be pretty good this weekend. it is turning cooler, from the low 80s back into the mid to upper 60s, great for being outdoors.
