Restaurant bookings

We shall be staying in Savannah for 3 nights at the beginning of April; arriving (too late for dinner) on a Friday night and leaving on the Monday morning.

Do you need to book restaurants in advance for Saturday night, Sunday lunch or Sunday night and how many restaurants are open on a Sunday night please?

Restaurant bookings

The better restaurants require or recommend advance reservations, esp. on a weekend.

The Olde Pink House

Sapphire Grill

Garibaldi%26#39;s

Vic%26#39;s on the River

IL Pasticcio

Noble Fare

Local 11 Ten

17Hundred90

The Chart House

Ruth%26#39;s Chris Steakhouse --this place is always packed, it%26#39;s well-known throughout the US

For Sunday brunch/lunch, reservations will help. I recommend you consider:

The Pirates House ---locals swear by Pirates House Sunday buffet, which is Southern cooking

Aqua Star --across the river inside the Westin, a popular among the locals Sunday brunch. Quite a spread.

casual %26amp; very popular: J Christopher%26#39;s on Sunday..it has a large local following. Eat outside if the weather%26#39;s nice. Reservations not required.

There are plenty of places open on Sunday nights, esp. at City Market and on River St. You can see them as you stroll around, read their menus which are posted outside of each entrance.

Skip: Lady and Sons, B Matthews.
