I went to Yoder%26#39;s this past weekend and was EXTREMELY disappointed. I called ahead of time and was told that they do not use any packaging in any of their food, it%26#39;s fresh daily, and they have an all you can eat for $10.95 and full and half portions of vegetables. I arrived and saw burnt, dried, old fried chicken and velveta macaroni and cheese. There was no all you can eat (not that I wanted to after seeing the food) and when I told them of the prices I was quoted on the phone, they said they didn%26#39;t know who gave me that information. It was poor cafeteria quality at best and kind of expensive. There were no prices displayed anywhere and only accepted cash. My husband and I got a meat, three vegetables, a slice of pie, and water for $21.00. I also heard another customer complaining about the pricing. We had a difficult time finding a clean table because there were also lots of dirty tables with leftover food from other patrons. Don%26#39;t waste your time or money!

did you lose your dog in savannah?

That%26#39;s a surprising review as I have eaten there a few times and heard from many others who have eaten there quite a bit and it always gets good reviews. I wonder if you arrived after a bus or near closing time--something must be up because our experience and everyone I know is very different than yours.
I don%26#39;t recall all you can eat personally, always been pay for what you get, which is better to me. Their pies are really excellent (I would be shocked if not homemade). The roast beef is as good as any I have had in a restaraunt and the veggies are typically very good. It they are packaged, fooled me on most things.
I don%26#39;t recall the price being so high either? Did you go on a Sunday? Are they even open on Sunday?
Just to be sure, are you talking about the Yoder%26#39;s near Montezuma?
I wonder if they have changed ownership recently? Anyone know?
I ate there two weeks ago. The food was so good and the prices are not bad. It%26#39;s not like a buffet. You do pay per item, so it could get expensive if you were to try a bunch of different items. There were prices for each item posted when I went. The adjacent bakery has very reasonable prices as well. Whole pies were only $7.50 and homemade bread $2.50 per loaf.
Wow, does not sound like the Yoder%26#39;s I know. You sure you were on Route 26, East between Montezuma, Georgia and I 75?
I have not met anyone in that neck of the woods that talks down about Yoder%26#39;s.
I am hoping that if what you say is true that it can be chalked up to Yoder%26#39;s having ';a bad hair day';.
