Our family of two adults(one architect, one landscape architect) and our teenage son is heading for our first visit to Savannah in early April. Since we have just a few days of leisure, we%26#39;d like like to take a couple of tours in order to get a sense of the city - of its ';Southerness'; especially as we are from California.
I%26#39;ve read past posts talking about the merits of several tours and now I%26#39;m totally confused which would be most appropriate for us.
Having studied the town%26#39;s wonderful plan long ago in university, we%26#39;re of course interested in the historic city planning, architecture, gardens etc. We%26#39;d also like to take ghost tour which sounds like a lot of fun. We appreciate good story telling but don%26#39;t want anything too cheesey.
