Visit April 17-20

Wife and I are going to spend a few days in town without the kids. It is 1oth year of marriage.

Staying at the Marriott on the River...looking for nice place to celabrate the big day. top notch price not really on issue.

Also what are the best tours or day time activities...we do not want to schedule our time full but want something to do each day as well as just relax and walk around.

Visit April 17-20

Check the reviews on this site but I suggest:

Garibaldi%26#39;s, Gottliebs, Il Pasticcio, Vic%26#39;s on the River, Old Pink House or Cobblestone Conch House. These are all easy walking distance from each other, walk around and look at the menus, check out the ';vibe'; they are all good and very different, none should disapoint.

Trolley tours, horse carriage tours and walking tours can be booked without too much notice. When you get here hit the visitors center on MLK right near where I-16 ends there you can pick up info on all the tours and other goings on.

If you are interested in history hit Ft Jackson(5 minutes from downtown) or Ft Pulaski(20 minutes from downtown), check them out on line, both are worth seeing.

Downtown, walking is the best thing to do, strolling is better. Look in every shop, sit down in every square. You will relax like never before.

Congrats on 10 years BTW.
