Stopping in Savannah

We%26#39;re stopping over evening in Savannah and will be there Saturday 4/1 thru whatever time we decide to move on up to Hilton Head on Saturday. I%26#39;ve enjoyed reading over the discussions and saw something about ';first Saturday';. Does that mean we%26#39;ll have a little something special to do on that Saturday? Not to say just being in Savannah isn%26#39;t special, I truely love that city and can%26#39;t wait to show it to my 3 friends. Also I%26#39;ve read something about the ';pink pig'; that we%26#39;ll be able to stop at on our way to HH, is Beaufort that way too? SO MANY QUESTIONS *laugh%26#39;n* this is my first trip up that way, normally we stay at Tybee? Thanks for your responses.

Stopping in Savannah

First Saturday at the river is art and craft booths and food and stuff on river street. It%26#39;s fun but an hour will do it.

Do try the pink pig on the way, it is good food and fun.
