We are thinking of traveling to Atlanta to the zoo and aquarium in June. Is it worth the hype? I heard the aquarium is very crowded and we have a zoo in Jacksonville that we go to.But if Atlant Zoo is really neat then we want to take our kids ages 7 and 4. Advice please!!
Zoo Atlanta and Aquarium
I think the aquarium is definitely worth the hype and it is a great experience. I think the crowds are thinning and are much better than a Disney World, etc. I was there Sunday and it was very manageable. The zoo is pretty good, if nothing spectacular. Being able to see pandas is a rarity so it%26#39;s worth it just for that experience. I volunteer to take foster kids there once a year and it is always a good time. This sounds like it would be a very fun trip for your kids. They may also enjoy the Children%26#39;s Museum, which is very near the aquarium facing Centennial Olympic Park, and Centennial Park itself, which has interactive water fountains for the kids (and adults) to play in and get a break from a hot summer day.

Don%26#39;t forget to see the Braves. They have a great kids activity center perfect for your aged kids. They%26#39;ll love it.
