Historic Hotel with waterview

Can anyone suggest a hotel in historic district that has balcony rooms facing the water?? I think the HI Express does, but are there others? Thanks so much.

There is a street and another set of buildings between the HI Express and the water.

There are only two HISTORIC hotels facing the river, the River Street Inn and the Old Harbor Inn.

Currently there are three contemporary hotels all facing the water, the Westin, the Hyatt, and the Marriott. Later on this summer the Bohemian will be open and fit in this catagory.

Clarify ';water'; please. Many people do not realize that Savannah is not on the ocean, but is instead on a ';RIVER';.

I stayed recently at The Old Harbour Inn. Great hotel and location. Some of the top floor rooms have river front balconies. Good breakfast, evening wine/cheese and ice cream treats in your freezer at night. It is an all suite hotel.

the River Street Inn is another small hotel that seems to get good reviews.

I am pretty sure it has balconies.

The River Street Inn does have balconies they are ';Savannah Balconies'; not full walkout balconies they are very small - maybe two chairs, no tables.
