pub crawl

We are trying to decide what tour has the best pub crawl. If anyone has recommendations it would be greatly appreciated

pub crawl

The only one I ever took was with Tara Tours and I enjoyed it immensely:

pub crawl

There are three:

Cobblestone Tours Haunted Pub Crawl

Savannah By Foot%26#39;s Creepy Crawl

Tara Tours Pub Crawl

I%26#39;ve taken the first two, and preferred the Cobblestone Tours offering, but others might disagree-- I just liked the mix of goofy humor, occasional chills and the reverence for real history. The guy who runs the Creepy Crawl is a nice enough guy but seemed a little thin on his grasp of history to me. I%26#39;m sort of a stickler on the subject.

I%26#39;ve heard good things about Tara%26#39;s offering. So I guess I could recommend them all, based on my experiences and others%26#39;, but in a different way. I doubt there%26#39;s a bad experience in the bunch.

I prefer the Creepy Crawl, it%26#39;s a lot of fun and really that%26#39;s what a pub crawl is about isn%26#39;t it?

The pub crawls sound like fun. We are staying at the Marriott are there any that leave close to there. All the ones I looked up so far are way at the other end from where we are staying.

It would be less than a half mile... keep in mind the Historic District is only 2.2 square miles. The maps can be deceiving at times.

Thank you for your reply. The map is very deceiving. I will check into it. I leave this Friday and can%26#39;t wait. It seems like i have been planning this trip for ages.

I went on Cobblestone Tours Haunted Pub Crawl that departed from Molly MacPherson鈥檚 in City Market this past June and I really enjoyed it. The tour guide was a student at SCAD and was soooo laid back with us, but then really got into the stories he was telling. We even hit up a few of Savannah%26#39;s more obscure pubs as well as the more popular. I always spend time drinking at the Moon River Brewing Co. and it was great hearing some of its many stories. Every time I%26#39;m there I hear something new. The tour guide gave us plenty of time to buy drinks at each bar and even went over on time. Only one other person besides me tipped him, so be sure to take care of them. Since you%26#39;re staying at the Marriott take the short walk over to the Pirate%26#39;s House and enjoy their Southern lunch buffett as well as the many ghost stories their staff will share with you. Keep us updated on how your trip went.

We%26#39;ve been on both the Creepy Crawl and the

Cobblestone Tours Haunted Pub Crawl and preferred the Creepy Crawl.

My husband and I went on the Creepy Crawl about a year ago and we returned to Savannah about a week ago with some friends and decided to take the the Cobblestone Tours Haunted Pub Crawl. The tour guide was young and was definitely laid back but not in a good way. He focused more on punch lines than actual historical stories.

The group was also too large. On the Creepy Crawl it was about 15-20 people. This tour was well over 30 and this caused long waits getting drinks at the pub as well as hard to hear the guide at times.

Next time we go, we are sticking with Creepy Crawl.

I did do the creepy crawl when we were there and it was very thing we expected it to be. Great guide and a lot of fun and we even have some pictures that are questionable we are having a friend study to see if there is ';something'; on them. I am so glad it was suggested to me %26amp; my traveling friends

Hi - we are coming to Savannah in mid April - could you tell me how to get a hold of Creepy Crawl so I can get us booked ?
