Sheraton Downtown

Have never been to Atlanata; need advice. We need to be at the Georgia Dome for an event April 16-18. Is the Sheraton Atlanta Downtown a good choice? Web site says it%26#39;s 9 blocks. Also - can we take the MARTA from the airport? At what stop would we get off?

This is a decent choice. It is a bit of a hike to the Ga Done, but I%26#39;ve done it before. The Sheraton is recently renovated and fairly modern, but be aware that there is a lot of construction in that area.

You can easily get there on MARTA, getting off at the Peachtree Center station.

You might also look at the Ellis Hotel, The Omni, Embassy Suites, and Hilton Garden Inn, all of which would be closer.

Sheraton Downtown

We had a terrible experience at the Sheraton (you can see my review under the review section). If you are a part of a conference or very large party at the Sheraton, you might be fine. If you are not, good luck.
