My hubby and I are coming to Savannah for the weekend. We are staying @ the Mansion on Forsyth.
We are wondering what some highlights of Savannah are? WHat are some ';must sees';? We are already planning to see Tybee Island on Day 2
We are in our 20%26#39;s, like art, music, food, and history.
Any help from locals would be appreciated!
20's Couple/ 2 Days/ What to do!?
The entire district is a ';must see.'; Since you like art, the new Jepson Center for The Arts has opened. Plan on a few hours there. There are several art galleries along Bull Street and in The City Market area. The Telfair Museum of Art is right next to the Jepson.
You will be staying at the Southern End of the District. If you don%26#39;t want a riding tour, plan on walking over to Bull Street and then North to the River. Each square has something unique about it. Then walk back to the Mansion along Abercorn Street. Once you get here, you%26#39;ll see plenty to keep you busy for two days.

You will LOVE LOVE LOVE the Mansion!!! If you truly enjoy food- check out the cooking school at the Mansion- we had a ball taking a wine/food pairing class. It was just my husband and I, the chef and the wine expert (also an intern that helped prepare the food)...great wine, great food and we really had fun learned a lot as well.
Another very good spot for upscale food %26amp; wine is the Savannah Bistro- they serve the best flounder that I have ever had in my life!
