Best way to get to Benning (flying) and a few more ?s

My best friend is graduating July 7th, family day is the 6th. I wanted to fly down there, but how would I be able to get to base? I%26#39;m not 25 so I can%26#39;t rent a car.

How many people are they allowed to invite to graduation?

What is the best airport to fly into to get to Benning?

We were thinking about staying at the lodging there as well. Any comments on that would be appreciated.

If you fly to Atlanta, Ft. Benning is about an hour and a half away. There are shuttles (vans) from the airport to the base, one of which is provided by Groome Transportation. Not sure of the rate - I just pass their buses constantly.

I just left my Husband in Fort Bennig and If you are goint to Fort benning from atlanta you are almost 3hr to four drive, Fort Benning is almost in Alabama you cross a mile and your in Alabama so you might think of trying Mongomery Airport or in Columbus there is a small airport you might try. With out a Car is going to be a hassel, becuase from the Gates to the central areas of the base there is a long way You need a car! about lodging try Motels there are a couple outside the base Motel 6 was only $37.00 a night to sleep was not bad.
