Loved Savannah

We just got back from our trip and I just had to write to say how much we enjoyed our stay in your beautiful city.We are definitely going back. Thanks to those who suggested hotels on Abercorn St. We stayed at Country Inn and Suites and it was perfect for us. We had no problem geting to the Historic Distric from there.I can%26#39;t wait to visit Savannah again.

If you have a little time, post some details about your trip, what you saw what you ate etc. That is a huge help for those planning their trip.

Loved Savannah

We stayed at the Country Inn Gateway. It was clean and not expensive. Our room was a small suite at $89. 99 per night. I went to the hotel web site and saw the price for the web deal and called the hotel directly and they gave us that price. The breakfast was included in this price. We enjoyed the breakfast and ate there every morning.

We also ate at 2 restaurants on Abercorn St. and had great meals at both places. At Mary%26#39;s Steak and Seafood your steak is served on a stone plate that keeps the steak hot.The steak and prime rib were excellent. At Carrabbas (Italian ) there is a Happy Hour and beer and wine are 2 for 1.We were there around 6:00.

When we first arrived in Savannah, we went to the Visitors Center. This is where we got on a Trolley Tour of the Historic District. WE choose the on/off tour. The driver was very good and told us many interesting facts about Savannah. I would suggest doing one of the tours. We found it very informative.

Thanks, glad you had a good time.

You%26#39;re welcome. I%26#39;ve talked so much about how beautiful Savannah is that our friends decided to go there for 10 days starting Easter weekend. Also, my sister and her husband are going there in July. I%26#39;m sure they%26#39;ll love it as much as we did. Can%26#39;t wait to go back!
