Breakfast in Savannah

Can anybody give me a couple of local breakfast spots in Savannah? The wife and I are heading up in August and we are trying to put together our dining schedule. Thanks!

If you will be downtown, there is a new place J.Christophers on Liberty near Abercorn that is quite good.

B.Matthews on Bay St at Habersham is a bakery/deli and has very good quiche and other breakfast stuff.

Thanks for your help. We will be staying at the Westin Savannah Spa. I%26#39;m not sure if these restaurants are close.

I read about Clary%26#39;s (sp?) from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. If this is truly a good spot, we%26#39;d like to try it. If it is a tourist trap, we%26#39;d rather stay away. What%26#39;s your opinion?

Clary%26#39;s food is ok, not outstanding. They were closed a couple years ago for rats, That is solved but I don%26#39;t eat there.

The Westin has a pretty good restaurant, I understand. A very good brunch too, not sure which days.

The Westin is across the river, you can catch a ferry to River Street then Bay is right up the hill, an elevator ride or a short walk.

Here is a pretty good map btw and the ferry info.

My husband and I were in Savannah this weekend and although we really enjoyed our breakfast at Huey%26#39;s on the River (especially the beignets), we loved brunch at the Firefly Cafe. Firefly Cafe is in a cozy residential area and on the corner of one of the squares. The service was great and the food was even better. We ate outside at both places.
