could anyone please tell me what the weather will be like in Georgia in June,friends are going and not sure what to pack.

For the Atlanta metro area, average high starts near 80 F (26 C) at the beginning of June and climbs to the high 80s F (31 C) by the end of the month. Average low starts around 60 F (15-16 C) and climbs to near 70 F (21 C) over the month of June. South Georgia will be a few degrees warmer typically.

High temps in June don%26#39;t historically get above about 37 C (98 F), but it could happen. We did have a weird cool spell at the end of June a few years ago where temps were abnormally cold, but that%26#39;s just once in all the years I%26#39;ve been here. The odds are negligible that you%26#39;d even need long sleeves, much less a jacket. Shorts and t-shirts or polo shirts are pretty much the order of things from June to the end of September around here.

Hot, yes but also humid which makes the heat worse. Probably 80%26#39;s or 90%26#39;s for the high. Can get as high as the 100%26#39;s. Rarely below 80%26#39;s for the afternoon.

Last year we had a heat wave the first week in June temps were 100 degrees- so you never can tell. Be prepared for anything.

If you are talking about the southern and coastal part of Georgia, don%26#39;t even worry about the possibility of long sleeves. It%26#39;s not going to happen.

Plan on the coolest clothes that you have. And remember, you can always buy something if you find you need to pack something else.
